Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with coding or machine learning.
- Experience with multiple languages and technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML5, C++, Python, Java, Go).
- Experience in designing architectures for Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with App Engine development, with hardware hacking, tangible interfaces, and experimental User Interface (UI).
- Knowledge of User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX).
- Ability to grow in a changing environment on multiple projects.
- Ability to take initiative with an interest in gadgets, inventions, and leaps in technology.
About the job
In this role, you will be pushing technical and creative boundaries. You will implement machine learning on products, development of interactive interfaces, front-ends, visualizations, physical prototypes native applications, and web-based products, including server-side implementation. You will work with a team of designers, writers, filmmakers, programmers, and creative tinkerers, while representing the Demos and Experiments team, and promote outside agency relationships as well as internal coordination with engineers and researchers.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. - Develop new ideas and applications, from prototype to launch, using the Demos and Experiments methodologies based on the latest research and technologies.
- Work with a small team of technologists, engineers, designers, and producers, while synthesizing feedback from partners and stakeholders to prototype demos or experiences.
- Represent the user, and advocate for the best practices in terms of system architecture, privacy, security, etc.
- Work with machine learning models, implement them into projects, and earn new technology and platforms. Experiment with various internal and external Application programming interface
(APIs) and libraries.
